Hi, I just got a 2012 Tundra and I was looking into more advice on a subwoofer setup. This is what I've been looking at right now.

As far as enclosure, I was either going to go with

o (http://www.qlogicenclosures.com/q-products/q-fit/qlf-tcm210/)r

07-10 Toyota Crewmax Custom enclosure - Check Out Our Products! (http://shop.tech12volts.com/product.sc?productId=108&categoryId=34

o)

One is rear firing and the other front firing. Anyone have a preference or experience with any of those enclosures?

As far as subs, I was looking into (2) 10's (4ohms) RF P3SD4-10

as far as an amp, I was looking into:

Rockford Fosgate Prime R1000-1D Car Amplifier - 500 W RMS - 1 kW PMPO - 1 Channel - Class D (http://shop.retrevo.com/m/s/Rockford-Fosgate-R1000-1D-Car-Amplifiers-review-manual/id/23619dj785/t/1-2/?rt=sp)
or

Boston Acoustics GTA-1000m (GTA1000m) Monoblock Class D GTA Amplifier (http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.aspx?itemid=120546

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575R7501D/Rockford-Fosgate-Prime-R750-1D.html?tp=115

Please keep in mind that spacing is limited on amp size and subsize. Id like to be able to fit the amps underneath the seats, or have it on the backboard between the enclosure and jack. Any advice an any other sub/amp combo would be appreciated.

Thank you for any advice

I was having the same problem. What I did was took it into a shop that knew what they were doing and asked them to build me a custombox for 2- 12" RF P3. Keep in mind that I had a JBL OEM system. That camewith a 8" sub. I am having them take that out and cut the plastic. The boxwill be built on that so if I have to take the rear window out all they have todo is take out one piece. The amps can be placed under the seats but it’sreally your preference. Take some pics when you decide what you do.

amps under the seat is a BAD idea.. when the seats fold down the space under there is TINY and you run the risk of forgetting and smashing/scratching breaking things..

In most trucks, space is obviously limited, so I wouldn't advise against utilizing the under seat space. I have the sub under my seat and amp mounted on the rear wall of my Tundra. In my wife's Yukon, I have the amps and a processor under the seat and have had them there for almost 10 years now with no issues.

You have a double cab.. your rear seats will not fold down and SMASH things placed underneath.

Hello TUNDRA solutions. I could not find a forum to introduce myself so I decided to find a post that I could offer some input or help with. I own a car audio store in California and have seen a few of these trucks. All of the suggestions are good but I think you should check out the JL Audio Stealth box for your Crewmax. The enclosures are sold individually or in pairs. It's a 13TW5 13.5 inch flat sub and they pound. Just finished a truck and it sounds awesome. Very efficient and built super nice. I hope this helps.

I know this is an old thread, but just found it. If you haven't bought the subs yet I'd suggest staying away from the RF slim subs. There's a bunch of better options out there, but budget and how much leg room you're willing to lose will be two key factors. Here's a pic of my setup...not the best, but exactly what I was looking for (lost absolutely no seat travel and great sound quality).
