Ok so i have an 02 Access cab 4x4 and i am planning on putting bigger tires on with aftermarket wheels. I am wanting to run 305/70/16s and i cant decide which wheels would be the best. Its between the Ultra model 164s with -06mm offset and 3.75 inches of backspacing or the pro comp 7069s with -12 offset with 4 inches of backspacing. I would like my tires to stick out past my fender flares a little bit but not real far out. Any advice would help as i am still a tad confused on the offset and backspacing stuff. all i know is i want my tires to stick out :) thanks

ill chime in because i just did this. i bought a set of MT classic IIs in 16X8 and put a 285/75/16 on it for fitment. the wheel was 3 5/8ths backspacing. it rubbed alot at the rear wheel well which is well documented. after seeing a 285 on a 8" wheel i decided 8s looked dumb, too "sucked" in. i then bought some 16X10 MT classic IIs (4 7/16ths backspacing) and threw on some 305/70/16. they hit in the same spot as the 285s did but on a 10 wide wheel look excellent. im glad i went to the 10" wide wheel.
now im screwed because i bought a RCD 6" lift kit and have brand new tires. oh well. ill have to wait it out.
