My buddy did this on his avalanche he cut it right after the o2 sensors and he said that nothing neg happened to the truck what do ever, and it sounds plain sick!! Has anyone done that with the gen 1 tundras? If so where did you cut it?

Toyota is very sensitive to changes in backpressure. Cutting exhaust and running straight pipes on any vehicle is a bad idea, but on Tundra's the loss in power is greater than most other vehicles. I don't know why, but I can say that from experience. I've tried straight piping almost every variation of Toyota truck. Literally NONE benefited by this. It just makes it loud and gutless.

Sorry if that wasn't what you wanted to hear, hopefully it helps though.

I had the exhaust cut off right before the y-pipe for a week or two while I was welding my new system. It was waaaaay to loud. Seriously. Saved some gas though, as I didn't want to go above 2000 rpm for fear of being pulled over.
