The math is:
Stock rim 18 x 8", +60mm offset
Backspace = (width + 1/2") diveded by 2 then add the offset
= 8.5 / 2 then add 60 mm (which equals 2.36 inches)
= 4.25 + 2.36
= 6.61"
Rockstars 18 x 9", +0 mm offset
Backspace = (width + 1/2") diveded by 2 then add the offset
= 9 / 2 then add 0 mm (which equals 0 inches)
= 4.5 + 0
= 4.5"
Thus, the new rims will stick out the difference of the backspacing (6.61" - 4.5" = 2.11"). The new tires will sit 2.11" further out than the stock tires.
