sweet. let me know how well the 2 gallon kit covers your truck. I'm thinking about getting some custom mixed olive drab.

I cant find this stuff locally for the life of me!!...I also googled and found dipyourcar.com had the lowest prices.

Also, on a side note, I know some people were wondering about how to get some kind of gloss coat on top of the plasti-dip.

I dont know if its new, or what, but on plasti-dips site, they have a clear gloss coat, as well as a silver or gold metalflake clear coat.

I have a few things to take care of on my new-to-me '00 before I can spend the $$ on plasti-dip. :(

Can't wait to get some plastidip and get started. I meant to do it weeks ago but just haven't been able to get around to it.

Let me know how that turns out. From what I read on the website, the paint spray gun they offer is designed specifically for this project. Now to be up front I know nothing about painting a vehicle by any means. I do plan on doing this to my '06 SR5 DC. I have the factory dark forest green paint job and with the black matte plastidip on certain parts and the emblems (good bye chrome) it should stand out really nice.
