I just installed this device and it works well. Problem is my NAV is complete wrong. I manually set the location then it tracks my progress at the wrong speed.
Anyone with a Lockpick have this issue? I have it installed in a 2010 platinum sequoia.

I just figured out what's happening. Anytime I engage the lockpick and it pauses the NAV. When I exit the unlocked functions and go back to NAV, the location is incorrect. It's supposed to update, but I drove around for about 5 minutes and it was totally incorrect. No updating at all. Anyone experience this?

Nope, once I'm done with inputting I press power twice and within 10-15 seconds it finds its place.

After working through email and getting a number to call for a tech, I actually received a call back from CoastalEtech. He said the GPS signal comes from the car through the green connector on the device. I looked at the connector and it looks okay, but I am starting to think the connector is defective or improperly spliced. I will open up the dash again today and make sure I have it all hooked up properly again. The unit might just be defective or something. Getting a hold of someone there is step in the right direction. Hopefully they changed their tune.

Well they finally concluded there was something wrong with the unit I received. I sent it back for a "warranty replacement". Overall I am satisfied with how they have handled the situation so far, aside from the fact that I had to pay return shipping for something that was their fault. I understand electronics on the black market have a certain fail rate, so the QC is probably lacking internally on their end. We'll see once the new one gets here how this turns out.

Happy to report I received my replacement 2WF and it works flawlessy as advertised. FYI, replacements take 2-3 weeks. They say they make these units as they get ordered, which I think is complete BS. I complained about the turnaround and they were polite enough to send it faster shipping. Overall however I am happy they did the right thing and backed up their product. Decent experience, other than having to send the defective unit back to them at my cost.

Agree 100%. They make a great product but their 'customer service' is 180 degrees opposite from their product.
If I were you I would dispute the charge with your credit card company. They should have paid for return shipping.
I'd have ordered a second unit from them for our Highlander, but don't want to take the chance of working with a company that is so disconnected from the concept of customer service.

ATTENTION anybody with a Lockpick device. DO NOT let the dealer update your ECU software. Never in a million years would I have expected this, but the latest ECU software update somehow blocks the Lockpick 2WF from working. In fact it fully disables any DVD on the front screen, even when parked.
I contacted Lockpick about this after my truck came out of the dealer in May for a simple emissions component replacement under warranty. Without telling me they also "shaved" my gas pedal (Prius debacle) and updated my software (it doesn't say to what).
Lockpick conceded that this is a known fault and the tech basically told me "too bad" they had no work around. I contacted the manager since I had only had the unit 6 mos, and he "suggested" that if he looked into it he may be able to get me a refund. Then he came back and told me since I purchased it through a retailer (Solid Signal Electronics) I was SOL and should contact them and tell them it's "obsolete".
I sent them an email and am waiting for their reply.
IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY OWN A LOCKPICK, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, THEY WILL DIE EVENTUALLY.
I thought about making it's own thread since SOOO many of us have this device (I learned about it here) but I will let a moderator decide if that is recommended.
