When stopped this car shakes uncontrollably at first i thought it was having a seizure but every day? It gets worse when a/c is running have not done much to car since we bought it new. Just paid it off, and need to make it last. Oil changes, air filters, clean intake and pcv valve thats about all I've done to this 4banger. Any ideas why it shakes so bad?

Also the brakes are squeakier than two unlubbed hinges getting it on! Toyota lifetime breaks on it, Toyota says they are fine but I know better. Loud squeaking is not fine, they say the rotors need turned but they are not grooved too bad compared to other vehicles Ive had and they never squeaked. Also coming to stops sometimes they sound like they are grinding metal on metal but break pads have lots of life in them.

Also lol.... the passenger window is messed up gotta push it forward or it pulls the window weather stripping down, The car was stolen the first month after we bought it brand new they stole it without breaking anything and then took it out just to wreck it in a ditch take the tires and smash the windows it has not been right since how hard is it to fix I recon it just needs tightend and I just don't wanna break the glass any advice on how to do this would be helpful.

Now I'm ready for the questions because I know I need more info somewhere. lol Ask away and thanks

Check the brake cylinder. If it is cracked or leaking, they can cause the front wheels to shake. My parents had a car that had a cracked brake cylinder that the car would shake violently (you couldn't hold the steering wheel). But, I do think there is something wrong with the brake or wheel assembly during the braking.

You could have a mechanic drive it to experience it for himself. Perhaps this would convince him there is something amiss...

If your car is shaking at idle I would look at a vacuum leak,...especially since you've been around the intake and PCV.

Since your car was stolen and wrecked the front suspension alignment and components is where I would look. If the pads have good material, replace the shims and clips and use some good quality lube while replacing them. Take the car up to about 60mph, brake hard, without stopping,...repeat atleast three times, without stopping and then allow the brakes to cool before parking.

To fix the window, you will need to take the window panel off and see if the window glass has shifted in its track and secure once properly aligned.
