Have an 04 Sequoia - Is there already a thread on how to remove the stereo? Is so, can someone link to it for me? I searched, can't find!!

there's got to be a simple faq on removing the stereo?!?!?

Google 04 Sequoia radio removal and there is a youtube video it looks like.

Basically you push the air vents, that are on each side of the radio up. There is a screw holding the plastic facia in place behind each grille. Remove the screws and pull the plastic facia cover out. Then there are 4 bolts that hold the stereo itself in, you will need to unhook the ac system from the cover to remove it completely.

When I removed the stereo from my tundra, I had to pull the fan/temp knobs off, then the plastic grill comes off.

Be careful with this. I think some of the early 1st gen Tundras (and maybe some sequoias) had removable knobs. My '05 Sequoia does not have removable knobs on the AC controls. It is one self-contained unit that comes off with the trim piece, and if you try to pull the knobs off, you may damage something.
