Long story, but I ended up letting best buy install my equipment for me. I had XM, an alpine amp and alpine coax door speakers installed. I also had them run the wires to my amp for my subs and speaker wires for subs (I do not have an amp or sub yet). I do not have jbl factory system. The problem is that the highs sounds crackly when turned up and especially when on talk radio and the bass sounds terrible and flat too. Any suggestions or quick fixes? Best buy raped me on price so I dont have much money to work with but it is important for me to have a good stereo system. I have free wires not hooked up to an amp for my sub. Will this cause problems?

take it back to best buy and make them fix it! If you paid good money, they should make you happy.

+2 id take it back as well. those loose wires, as long as they are not exposed or touching anything, wont be a problem.

I don't know if this is an options since its been a few months since they installed it.
