My drivers side captains chair arm rest will not stay up. I climbed into the truck earlier this week and felt something let go when I adjusted my seating with my elbow on the arm rest. Now I can't tighten the pivot mounting bolt which holds the arm rest in place, it just turns freely. Anyone got any ideas how to fix it? It is very annoying.

If you un-zip the armrest cover there is a 14mm bolt holding the armrest onto your seat. With that removed you will see a small metal stud that is used for stopping your armrest. That might be broken & why it moves freely. Hope this helps & i don't knoe of any repair for it except weling it back on or using j b weld.

Yes, this is what I figured too. At this point I can't figure out how to get the free turning 14mm bolt out. I may have to drill the head off and go from there. Thank you very much for responding to this thread.
