My floor mat hook has come out. Tried re-installing but i dont want to break it how do they snap in?

Maybe the hooks are just pushed together too close. Try prying them apart before setting back in the hole.

The hook looks good there is a washer under the matt i assume that thehkook goes through it and the hole in the floorboard is for clearence but i still cant get it to snap in place!

There are threads on other Toyota Forum sites and it shows pics and a tool that can be used to pop that floor mat hook back in.... and other options instead of the tool. It WILL snap back in. Youtube even has a video. Good luck.
