does the 01 sr5 have a changable fuel filter. and also i need to change my spark plugs whats the way to go on those , any specific brand or just go to the dealer and get some . ive got 203k on my truck and need to tune er up ..:tu:

Yes, its on the left side under the doors, in the frame. For the plugs check the DIY section at the top of the page.

I reccomend installing the plugs your engine was designed for: OEM.
Picking up a Wix filter from your nearest O'reilly's will be perfect.

NGK or Denso for the plugs, should be able to get those at a local too.

Just make sure to gap the plugs properly. .023 is the gap, if I remember correctly.

2UZ v8= Electrode gap: 0.8 mm (0.031 in.)
5VZ v6= Electrode gap: 1.1 mm (0.043 in.)

The OEM NGK plug for an '01 4.7L is p/n BKR6EYA & gap is .032 in. There are newer design Iridium plugs also available for this truck but at a somewhat higher price also.

changed my fuel filter an now its leaking on the flow in line..
