: First ever Toyota.... Hellested 07-11-2012, 09:36 PM So this is my first toyota and i like it. Its a 2002 Toyota Tundra v6 3.4l automatic 2wd. I bought It for 1,350 from my work. It used to be a street sweeper but i put on my home made flat bed, lol. It only has 142,000 miles on it. It runs and drives perfect. I think I got a deal. What about you guys? How long do these tundra usually last? I also made a verticle gun mount for my AK47 mounted in the cab! Since buying it a month ago, I installed a hitch. I havent towed anything yet but my plan is to use it to haul my toys. BobbyB 07-12-2012, 04:06 AM Nice AK... love the umph that round has. As for the truck, enjoy it. Hellested 07-12-2012, 02:40 PM Thanks ! UPbuilder 07-12-2012, 02:50 PM That's a pretty tricked out AK, love it! So in Nevada long guns don't have to be cased? Here in MI we either have to case them or break them down. We do have what we call the Michigan pistol, more or less an SBR or SBS that we can register as a pistol and if you have a CPL(I do) then you can have it loaded on the front seat if you want. Thumbs up on the truck, I'm sure you'll get many miles out of it. lineman-77 07-12-2012, 03:56 PM That's a pretty tricked out AK, love it! So in Nevada long guns don't have to be cased? We can have them here, but you have to do the whole NFA class 3 app and tax thing, wait the 3 months or so and then it has to be a pre ban weapon, pre 1986, and you will pay big bux for a pre ban full auto. Dems the rules regardless which state you're in. lineman-77 07-12-2012, 08:08 PM We can have them here, but you have to do the whole NFA class 3 app and tax thing, wait the 3 months or so and then it has to be a pre ban weapon, pre 1986, and you will pay big bux for a pre ban full auto. Congrats on a great buy!

http://media.nokzgaming.com/?di=7UBI Hellested 07-13-2012, 05:43 PM Thanks guys. Nice guns yourself! In Nevada as long as your 18 or old and not determined mental or have a felony, You can own any long rifle! To be full auto(your right) Class 3. But here you can open carry without a permit. My AK is fully loaded with 30 in the clip. When in a vehicle it can be loaded but not one chambered. Just walking down the street, you can have one chambered! I got pulled over twice with my gun(different cops). The first time the cop was like nice gun, now heres you speeding ticket, lol. The second time, I was at a light and a cop pulled up next to me and then when it turned green he pulled me over. I asked him why he did so and he replied "because you have a gun." In the state of nevada it is illegal to stop someone just for having a gun. I told him that, and he said i was lying. Long story short i was held up on the side of the road for an hour untill his supervisor got there and the supervisor said i was 100% right by the law and let me go. I love knowing the law. I seen in your profile that your in california? I thought all semi-auto rifles were banned? Or is that just in big cities? Hellested 07-13-2012, 05:49 PM Also there is no waiting period for guns! You got the cash then its all yours. They do a background check on the spot. BobbyB 07-13-2012, 06:43 PM NoKz as badass and clean as your truck is I'd expect you to keep your weapon rust-free.... just kidding UPbuilder 07-13-2012, 06:45 PM Thanks guys. Nice guns yourself! Michigan is an open carry state too, no permits required. I open carry on occasion but mostly conceal carry. Any age can own a long gun, but 18 for handguns. We can't have them loaded in vehicles though (except for your CC gun), and they have to be cased. No waiting periods here either and no restrictions for mag capacity. With a conceal carry permit there's no background check or purchase permit required either. If this thread goes gun porn I'll contribute a couple of my favorites, one being my beloved BCM AR. :D UPbuilder 07-13-2012, 06:48 PM I seen in your profile that your in california? I thought all semi-auto rifles were banned? Or is that just in big cities?Semi auto's aren't banned in Kali, but mags are limited to 10 rounds. That one there's a 30 lol I seen in your profile that your in california? I thought all semi-auto rifles were banned? Or is that just in big cities?
Semi-auto's are perfectly legal, but as UPbuilder stated, clips are limited to 10 rounds. I do have several 30 round clips for it though. :D

I was 17 in that pic. The gun was given to me when I was 20 and has since been cleaned and looking great. I do not have a pic because it's locked up and kept in a safe place. If uncle sam finds it, I'm in deep trouble for several reasons. But mainly, because it's FA. :x UPbuilder 07-14-2012, 01:00 PM Nice! but be careful they don't mess around when it comes to class 3 without papers. You might even want to remove that statement from a public forum. Hellested 07-15-2012, 11:52 PM Nice! but be careful they don't mess around when it comes to class 3 without papers. I second that notion!
I really want to get a 75 round drum but i think it takes too long to load and wont fit in my tactical vest mag pouch. so i just carry 4 30 rounders. lol
What other guns does every one have? All i have are long rufles because im not 21 yet to get a handgun. only 5 months! | |
