Does anyone have a unique mounting option for offroad lights on their Tundra? I have seen the Bull bar and the little straight bar that mounts on the roof. I dont want the bull bar because my last bumper/brush guard rattled horribly when trail riding. I dont care for the straight bar on the roof because I dont want to add anymore height to my truck. I would really love a mount on the hood area near the windshield, jeep style. Westin makes some nice mounts, but unfortunely not for the 1st gen Tundra.

IMHO, the cleanest lighting solution today is the low-profile LED bars.

my WAAG bar takes a beating in baja and doesn't rattle a bit.

A bumper is easy... tube or plate, off-the-shelf or custom. Up high will create a lot of glare. The Golight on the basket can cause problems at times.

With some creativity a 10" LED bar could probably be mounted into the factory lower bumper opening or in the grill. My two 6" single rows run circles around the HIDs.

how bad was the install for that addicted off road bumper? I went to the website and it mentions having to weld on a bumper support. It also says it comes "raw bumper" does that mean you had to weld it all together?

No the bumper comes welded together but no paint or anything. It comes with a piece of rectangular steel with pre added welded in nuts that the bumper attaches to. That piece must be welded in between the frame rails at the very front of the frame. Wasn't too hard but some may be timid about doing so.
