Is there a way to add a The Handy pop-down conversation mirror in the overhead console that allows you to monitor the goings-on in back.

I was at a dealer and noticed this nifty mirror that tucks up into the overhead.

I have an SR5 with numerous cubby compartments in the overhead console, the smallest one closest to the front is useless as my sunglasses do not even fit.

However I can see how the pop-down conversation mirror in the overhead console can be very useful as I have two young children that like to pick and pry at things in their seats and pick fights ect.. (typical things 3 & 5 year olds do when stuck in a vehicle on road trips.)

I am finding myself always adjusting the rear view mirror to address them or watch them.

Has anyone put a Conversation mirror in their 1st Gen Sequoia? Any other ideas, aside from a Schlep Boys stick on special?

Thanks in advance

I believe there are four bolts holding your driver’s seat down, and facing forward. You could remove those bolts, turn your seat around, then bolt it back down. If you do this, you will not have to be distracted by the road or cars around you while you converse with or watch your children.
I am sorry, but distracted drivers REALLY strike a nerve with me. Child proof your 5000lb truck, put your children in car seats (or buckle them in if they are of age and weight), then keep them, yourself, and other people around you safe by KEEPING YOUR EYES AND MIND ON THE ROAD. If there is THAT much going on back there that it requires you to focus on it instead of the road, PULL OVER.
