With gas prices going the way they were in Jan the Tundra was parked and I bought a 2012 Focus SE as a DD; Tundra sat for 4 months until the wife asked about trading the Tundra/HL in on a larger SUV so we looked at the Seq/Exp for a comparison; the Exp Eddie Bauer was nice, cheaper but way underpowered to the point that when my wife drove it she asked what was wrong with it.

Tes drove the Seq and enjoyed everything but the price tag! Got a great deal on it, got rid of the Tundra/HL and have been driving the Seq for the past 2 months.

It does not handle as well as the Tundra-it did have the Bilstein 5100's/Seq FSB/Toyota RSB on it-but I guess that is what you get when you had the weight on the back. The Seq is 2 ft shorter than the Tundra so that might have something to do with it as well.

I transferred the Airraid CAI from the Tundra to the Seq, other than that nothing from the Tundra would fit.

So...so far I have changed the rear diff fluid to Amsoil at 1500 miles to get the stock break in fluid out, changed the oil at 5K to get the break in oil out and out the Amsoil sig series oil in and put the all weather mats from Toyota in it.

I would like to out the matching color handles on but my wife likes the chrome ones to break it up...

I was looking at exhaust systems and I found two; the Borla which is around $900 and the Gibson which I can get the SS version for $430; I have used Borla on just about everything I have owned but can't see spending $900 on it....has anyone used the Gibson systems and if so what are your thoughts?

I had the Borla and got rid of it because of the drone. Truly awful and NOT enjoyable, I've had catback systems on all my cars, mostly Borla but I've gone back to stock with a South East Toyota exhaust tip. Supposedly Sequoia owners are happy with the Corsa system.

Congrats and welcome to the Sequoia family.

I will look into the Corsa and thanks for the feedback on the Borla!

I can't tell by your sig; what engine do you have and what line/year Seq?

2008 5.7 Platinum, we also have a 2009 3.5 Highlander Sport.

Check out YouTube for some Sequoia's with Corsas.

I listened to the clip on You Tube, does not sound bad at all! Wish they had some recordings from inside the cabin.

Corsa is pretty proud of that system!

The end of this clip has the sound from the inside at highway cruising speed. I've been eyeing this system ever since we got our '08 Sequoia (three weeks ago), and the PO had already installed a K&N CAI. I love the sound when you get on it, and I'd love to get the Corsa and then get it dynoed just to see the numbers. Owning a motorcycle and boosting its performance doesn't help now that I have a beast to play with with the 5.7. Best price I found for the Corsa with free shipping: 2008 Toyota Sequoia Corsa Performance Exhaust 14573 Single 3" Rear Exit Cat-Back Exhaust (http://www.wickedcarparts.com/2008-toyota-sequoia-corsa-performance-exhaust-14573-single-3-rear-exit-cat-back-exhaust/)

That is a great price! Have you put it in the cart to verify the price is good?

Funny thing is their "15% ends today" promo runs every day that I've visited that site. :D

$870.30 to be exact...just like the link I posted earlier. However, autoanything.com says that the Corsa is not available for a '12 Sequoia. But, from what I know, the '08-'12 Sequoias should be the same underneath...unless there are some changes in how the exhaust system is routed.

After reading all the reviews Corsa looked like the best optionn; I was going to get a Gibson but read somewhere it droned and the fitament was not great so once I found a price as low as what their price was.....well....no use waiting!
