It has been about 2 years since I have had a used set of ICONS on my 05 DC and it was time to have them rebuilt. A distinctive loud clunking from the right side was becoming bothersome and didn't want my new rubber to prematurely start wearing.

ICON is located out here in Cali so a simple removal of the shock and couple emails later my coilovers will be good as new in about a week hopefully. The guys over there seemed really helpful and answered all my questions promptly. Big ups to their customer service.

So far so good and hoping for no further damage to the shock itself. Total cost for the pair should be about $250.

PS. I tried logging in with my old login (dspain01) and it has been disabled and I wasn't able to send PMs to the admins or reply to any other posts, so hoping this will be an easy fix.

Icon is known for excellent customer support/service. Good to hear they are taking care of you, got any other pics of your truck?

ICON customer service was perfect. I had the parts dropped off Monday morning, rebuild was on Tuesday and they said I could pick them up Thursday, but I wasn't able to get down there until Friday which was still way faster than I thought it would take. Had them bolted back on my truck after a coupe hiccups never having installed them before, the shaft on the lower shock bolt wasn't lining up. A quick phone call with ICON let me know it was okay that the shaft should spin freely with a little coercion with a long screw driver. And done, no more clunk and the drive is smooth.

I had to reset my profile since my other one got locked somehow, not sure how. But I will get some more pics up here. There are couple in my profile saved now, but I had a few more.

Next thing to tackle will be gears.

Sounds good, the lower mount takes a little fiddling on any coilover but it's just a matter of getting the bolts in. :tu:
