My truck is a 2000 LTD 4X4 and it looks as if it has been leaking for a while. The front diff has to be removed, split, and re siliconed....4 hours labour. mike Stooge 03-04-2004, 06:15 AM Yes. My '03 has a 5 year, 60,000 mile warranty on the drivetrain. That would be about 96K km so you may very well be covered if the Canadian warranty on your model year is the same as mine. I will have to find a dealer thats willing.:tu: mike dyogim 03-05-2004, 07:51 AM It the stealerships won't cover it, check to see if the leak is coming from the inner axles, it could just be a bad seal. If that's the case, that should be easy to fix. Stooge 03-05-2004, 08:55 AM If you're sure it just a seal, try some Auto-RX. They have a website and it worked pretty good on a rear main seal leak I had on my little Cavalier. | |
