i figured i would post this for others knowledge..i just had to go to scott toyota in scottsdale arizona..my check engine light turned on at 7600 miles on my 04..took it in to the dealer..took them an hour..was in and out..the service was wonderful..no questions asked..straight business..they were very friendly..wonderful service..

turned out that it was an evaporative leak detected..they replaced my fuel filler tube and a new gas cap because the old one was not sealing properly..
