I'm looking into lowering my '03 4Runner a bit... Don't worry, I'm not going to "slam" it or anything like that. Maybe just level out the profile. But I need some recommendations for some local shops that could help me figure something out. I use the vehicle to tow, so I need to be able to adjust the rear.... I know nothing about this type of suspension work. Now, ask me how to get an '87 Grand National to hook up, and I can talk your ear off... :D

Well, due to the lack of responses, I suppose no one knows of a good suspension shop around Houston.

But now you will all have no excuse! I found a really good shop out in the Tomball area. I went through about 3 different shops, each telling me, "Sorry, it can't be done because Eiboch or whoever doesn't make parts for it"... So I finally was referred to Cutten Customs by Custom Car Stereo (SW Freeway between Bellaire and Fondren). Walked in to Cutten, told them what I wanted and their response was "We can do it." Took it in today and now my 4Runner rides level from front to back... They even included a pair of air bags so I can raise it up a bit when I need to tow... Great experience and great work... it still rides just as good as it did before the procedure...

I Highly recommend these guys... They're Cutten Customs on Cutten Road in Tomball. 281-537-6748. They do everything suspension related and then some....

They've got a black 4Runner out front that's pretty nice looking... Nice lift, rims and body work... but the interrior was gutted....

Is it really a 4Runner...I guess I just took a glimpse at it. I wonder how much they're selling it for, would make a nice project.
