For about 2 seconds I had a heart attack until I realized that they were only in the trail dust, not the paint.
I went wheeling about 30 minutes outside Lake Tahoe, in the Silver Fork area and had a blast, it was my first time really wheeling my truck, It did great!
wow, thought were scratches at first as well.......lucky for you they are not!

Heart pounding tears welling . . . whew just a false alarm.
I would have been soooooooooo pissed.
I have had many high - end cars. I take care of EVERY car like a BMW. When resale time comes I always get top dollar for my rides . . .
People think I LOVE my truck. Truth is I love to get top dollar when I sell/trade. To me a car is a car . .
but then again this new Taco is pretty dang sweet!

What were you thinking???
Now you went and got it all dirty
You know I`m just kidding!!!
because we hunt my truck looks like this every weekend, especially this time of year.I was up `till 1am last night buffing 3 weeks worth of scratches.I try to stay off the tight brush trails but sometimes it can`t be helped.
That`s what I love about Toyota`s they fit places a fullsize would get thrashed getting into
I don`t plan on ever selling or trading it in so I treat mine a little different I try not to thrash it I`ve even turned back a few times when the trail got too brushy but I use it for what it is
Like Rob said a car is a car but a Toyota 4x4 is in a class by itself
I`m glad it wasn`t scratched............this time
We call it Manzanita Pinstriping, stupid brush is everywhere, you can always tell the guys who hunt by looking at their trucks the first scratch is the hardest to get over but once it`s done it`s done
I should warn you `wheeling is highly addicting next thing you know your truck will look like mine

Actually , those are scratches ,thats why the dirt is sticking to them , Like every one said though no big deal , a good wax should take care of them if they still show after a wash . I buff those out for customers (dark colors) who think that their car is destroyed , when they see it they treat it like a miracle - it is damn funny sometimes :D
