Congrats!! Is it a 4X4 or 4X2? Color? Pics please :tu: :ts:

4x2, V8, White. It has a borla muffler and a K&N intake on it. All badges are already removed. Otherwise it is stock.

I was going to get a 06 Tacoma DC Sport 4x4 6speed but this saves me about 12 grand. More money to spend on the Tundra

I picked up my 2000 AC last month and I already went crazy modding it. It already had mods to begin but I added more stuff to it! Too much $$$. It could have gone to a brand new 55" LCD Projection TV, or a set of new washer dryers, fridge and oven! Wife was mad until I got her a cute Pomeranian (1yr old and house broken). I guess we're all happy now!

good score. i wish i could have saved $12K to spend on other things. its a rarety for a stepside tundra makes it into the buy-n-sell, or advertiser classified.

Yeah, only two. Some guy had two for sale with caps and lugs. The shipping to Hawaii is as much as I paid for the wheels. I just need to score two more.

Man, your Tundra is bad A$$ but a little to modded for me. We got the dreaded recon here and I don't want to get it to that point. Still trying to figure out what I want to do. I would not mind a 03 and newer front end. Anyone selling one???

I washed it last weekend and wanted to take some pics but the wife put the camera and I couldn't find it and she couldn't remember where it was. While she was gone I installed the Ironman Flares. Looks way better than the black and chrome "rubber lips" that were on there.

I got burned on the 05 Taillights. The person on ebay calims that the person who sends the parts out had a serious accident and cannot complete the transaction. Anyone want to sell me a set????

I now have six 17" Tundra wheels from ebay. I can't seem to find any locally. I want two more.

I also traded my stock Tundra 16" wheels with my coworker for 05 Tacoma aluminum wheels. For those thinking about the swap I would not do it since it moves the wheel inwards about 1/2" I'm going to put these on my 4Runner when it stops raining here.

More stuff on the way! Hopefully if everything goes as planned I'll have a true IS this weekend.:tu:

Hey sorry to hear about you getting burned on those 05 tails. Were you able to get your money back?

Do you have the complete set of the TRD Ivan Stewart decals? There is a guy selling a complete set of 6 decals for $40 with free shipping. You get 2 rear bed decals, 2 rear door window decals, and 2 emblems; one for the dash and one for the rear tailgate (some dealerships put that emblem on the rear tailgate, so I think it's optional.

There's usually sets of 16" Ivan Stewart TRD wheels on eBay. Get some tires with the white lettering out. Don't forget the black TRD floormats. However, the WeatherTech Floor Liners is a really slick solution, you can also remove the WeatherTech emblem and replace it with a TRD one :tu: . Your IS look will be near complete. Now the Classic Soft Trim TRD Luxury package with carbon fiber interior and TRD supercharger is optional.

Wow you were able to get a set of those TRD IS rear fender flares. I have been searching for two months now with no luck :cry: . My IS conversion will be on hold indefinitley. Yeah there is a set on eBay for like $700 but I'm not that crazy to spend that much; or am I :confused: .

Hey I'm already jealous, you got the IS flares :D :tu: . Please somebody sell me some IS flares. I promise I will post pix as soon as my Tundra is done and when I get my USB cable for my digital camera, I seem to have misplaced it.

I installed the IS bumper cover and my 17" Tundra wheels Saturday all the time getting rained on.

I actually got almost all the bolt's off with the bumper on. Only the center four of the bottom trim piece got in the way and I had to remove the bumper. Actually it was pretty easy, if you don't mess with the brackets.

I stripped the paint off the grill insert and now need to get rid of the rust. I can't believe how much rust was under the paint. I hope I can finish the repaint before this weekend so I can install the grill.

Anyone have a set of white mirror covers they want to trade for a set of silver ones?

Good move :cool: . When looking at your pics the truck looks clean only complaint was running boards (not a big fan, makes look like soccer mom car) not a TRUCK :) .

I like the look of the truck with the chrome tubes better than the stock running boards. If I had the money, I would buy some Demello's. I may buy some black rims down the road and sell my Ivan's but they're pretty messed up. Anyone know a place in Hawaii that refinishes rims?

I'm lagging as usual, my IS bumper cover is not even painted yet, my front Ivan flares are also still waiting to be painted, and I am still searching for Ivan Stewart rear fender flares. No TRD. Just a regular 2wd SR5 with rubber fender moldings. Thats why I wanted the IS flares. It covers the wheels without sticking out too far.

My other set is still over there in Honolulu and the other ones are still on the way. I guess I can always keep a spare set because these fender flares are so rare nowadays. Even those $800 IS flares on eBay are no longer showing up! If I ever get a new Tundra, the flares will also fit on a 03-06 Tundra AC models but I'd have to buy black. I can't wait to get them painted and installed!

BTW, this guy on eBay is selling the Ivan Stewart Signature Edition decal set for the Tundra (2) Two bed decals (2) access door window decals and (1) highly coveted dash emblem. $40 shipped for everything and he has two sets as of this posting.

When I first got them I thought the reverse light socket was the one going to give me trouble but it's the other two. Now I have to go to the stealer to get the correct harness.

Does anyone know how much they are going for?????

As for the IS decals, I think they look cool but personally I don't like to put them on my vehicles. I am having a hard time deciding to put back the TRD emblem on the grill.

Did the eBay seller say he was going to include the wiring harness? If you get that harness at the 'stealer' it ain't gonna be cheap. I bet buying another set of 05 tails with the harness may still be cheaper or a better deal than buying that harness with the bulbs from the dealer. I think you'll need bulbs also and if I remember the bulb colors are not the same as the ones on the 01-04 AC models. I think on the clear lens section of the 05 tails is a colored amber/orange bulb while on the older tails the bulb is clear because the taillight already has a colored lens outside.

I'm in the process of doing an almost complete IS conversion, but I won't be adding the Supercharger or the TRD Luxury leather interior at this time. Yeah I wonder what the complete IS package would look like totally de-badged.
