: Norcal meet 11/6/05 Lagoon Valley/Pena Adobe Regional Park, Vacaville, CA dyogim 10-13-2005, 09:15 AM I'll get the ball rolling on this. Since, there have been requests for a meet and greet. It's been a while since we've had one of these. So, we need suggestions on a date and location. Preferred location would be in the Vacaville/Fairfield area.
So far only one suggestion was given on location:
JESSIKA - Mel's Diner in Vacaville.
What about a park for a BBQ?
Or the Vacaville Outlets? Lots of parking, places to shop, food places close by.
Any others? This doesn't have to be on the weekend either. We can meet-up during the week at around 6pm or so.
Post up your suggestions....................!!! mmarlatt 10-13-2005, 09:47 AM Lagoon Valley/Pena Adobe Regional Park is located on Pena Adobe Road off Interstate 80. The park includes the historic Pena Adobe home, barbecue areas, horseshoe pit, multi-purpose field, bike trails, a small pond, excellent hiking, Lagoon Valley Lake for fishing, and much more.
It is in Vacaville. The much more includes restrooms and a frisbee golf course. It cost a few dollars to enter the park, maybe $3. Every time I have gone there is always a strong enough breeze that I loose a disc in a water hazard. JESSIKA 10-13-2005, 12:50 PM Yea Pena Adobe was my next suggetion, lots of room to park there, but there are lot of ducks there, it would work just dont feed the ducks whatever you do, they will swarm you.
This is a good spot.:tu: customcutz 10-13-2005, 04:11 PM Whats up jessika, I agree with both of you since i live in fairfield. I was looking for a post like this. Lets get together.

I DRIVE THEM LOW TOO lol. I'm down for any meeting, anywhere after Nov 1, I'll be gone on vacation until then. It would be nice to meet other locals. I was happy that Jessika was willing to meet me today to show me her ride (which by the way is very sweet, 90 mph+ supercharge whine, ZOOM!). It will be great to meet others too!
Robert dyogim 10-14-2005, 12:00 AM That's 3 for Lagoon Valley/Pena Adobe Regional Park.

Suggested dates? Herbicidal 10-14-2005, 09:58 AM I'm here! That sounds like a good place to meet. Honestly the weekend would work better for me. I need to ask my buddy Rick to see what day would work for him. They way things are looking, Nov. would be good. JESSIKA 10-14-2005, 03:27 PM I would prefur a weekend meet as well:tu: Tundra168 10-14-2005, 08:53 PM How far is that place from San Jose. I and Eric need to drive all the way up there, gas price is killing me  But I will try to make it. Haven't meet you guys since Dyno meet. I perfer BBQ and weekend meet. JOHN
From san Jose, I'd say 1.5 hours. It's over in Vacaville off of hwy 80. Otherwise, I'm doing good and the truck is only really driven on the weekends. Right now, it's being used as the home improvement hauler.
Weekend does sound better and more convenient for everyone. Let's have it on a sunday, either the 6th or the 13th of Nov. So, pick one and we'll go from there. JESSIKA 10-16-2005, 09:43 PM Im not sure if there is a map, I will swing by and check sometime this week. tundra2501 10-16-2005, 09:49 PM Depends when the meet is i might be able to make it. dyogim 10-16-2005, 10:04 PM JESSIKA, thanks!

JOHN Herbicidal 11-07-2005, 08:52 AM Hey everyone, thanks for coming out on a rather chilly afternoon! A lot of diversity on display. :tu: It was real nice meeting new people and spending time with old friends. I think we had a total of 12, maybe 13 trucks that stopped by. Great turnout! Keep an eye on the California forum for future events.
Take care! dyogim 11-07-2005, 02:59 PM As I was passing out some tundrasolutions.com decals, there was one guy who left right before customcutz left. I apologize, I do not remember the name. Rick dyogim 11-08-2005, 01:41 PM Hey Herb, you better have wheel locks on those new tires and wheels... I think I still know where you live. LOL!!! Herbicidal 11-08-2005, 03:04 PM Thanks for the compliment/warning guys! Yes, those rims require a special tool to get each lug off. In fact, at work, I throw my truck up on jack stands and I take the rims/tires off and roll all 4 upstairs with me. It adds another 45 minutes to the start and end of my day but it's worth it! :D :D :D

To all the trucks I got to check out with my scan tool, :ts: no problem it was fun being able to compare one after another. The more you use the tool the better you become with it. I am just learning how to get around on TS. To find these post I did a search for Herb. I know there is another way to do it.
I am going to do Herb's ft. brakes this week, maybe I can get him to show me some ins and outs on TS. I would also like to learn how to post pictures.
I ordered a power sliding rear window for my truck. I got in on the group buy in the general forums. This was the first time of doing something like that. It was exciting checking the forum every day to see who and how many were getting sold. We needed 10 for the special price. Some times I would check it two or three times a day. I was up at 5 am. on the 10th. to place my order. The 10th is when we could start ordering and the special price would last until Dec. 10th if we could get a min. of 10 sold. On the 11th. we had 10 sold and I was notifiied the window is on its way, can't wait. JESSIKA 11-12-2005, 11:59 PM That's alright Chris, that computer at least makes up for that fender :)
Yea that computer is pretty sweet:tu: Herbicidal 11-14-2005, 06:52 AM I am going to do Herb's ft. brakes this week, maybe I can get him to show me some ins and outs on TS. I would also like to learn how to post pictures.
I ordered a power sliding rear window for my truck. I got in on the group buy in the general forums. This was the first time of doing something like that.I'd be happy to! I would like to see how your power window works once you have it in, that will be very cool! :tu: Sorry to post so late, I just wanted to say that my wife, our saint and myself had a great time meeting everyone. It was really cool to meet a bunch of other Tundra owners in Norcal. I especially enjoyed seeing so many variations, lowered, lifted, supercharged, retrax, bed rack, steroes, the works! It was like a showroom for mods, I now have plenty of ideas of what to do next. We should try to do this more often and perhaps a little more formal and do a bar-b-que, etc. I'll volunteer to organize it if there is interest. Take care!
Rob dyogim 11-21-2005, 10:08 AM To all the trucks I got to check out with my scan tool, :ts: no problem it was fun being able to compare one after another. The more you use the tool the better you become with it.
Rick - thanks again for reading the codes. Looks like the P0125 was related to the P0135. I had the sensors replaced, both left and right as you had mentioned, on friday. I requested to have the only mechanic I trust at that dealership work on my truck. About an hour of waiting my truck was done. A couple of people saw the letter about the extended warranty on the O2 sensors and were surprised I had. Thanks to this site, I didn't get the run-around and have to pay $125 just to read the codes Toyotarick 11-21-2005, 05:05 PM Mike,
Glad I could help. I was wondering if you remember the white Tundra with the 3 inch body. I can't remember his name or his Tundra Solutions call name.
I am interested in doing the 3 inch body lift. I can get a kit from central 4wheel Drive for 300.00. The kit does't list what it contains or what will be adjusted. I was wondering about the bumpers, radaitor, brake lines and steering shaft. If you can help, let me know. :ts:
