I'll get the ball rolling on this. Since, there have been requests for a meet and greet. It's been a while since we've had one of these. So, we need suggestions on a date and location. Preferred location would be in the Vacaville/Fairfield area.

So far only one suggestion was given on location:

JESSIKA - Mel's Diner in Vacaville.
What about a park for a BBQ?
Or the Vacaville Outlets? Lots of parking, places to shop, food places close by.

Any others? This doesn't have to be on the weekend either. We can meet-up during the week at around 6pm or so.

Lagoon Valley/Pena Adobe Regional Park is located on Pena Adobe Road off Interstate 80. The park includes the historic Pena Adobe home, barbecue areas, horseshoe pit, multi-purpose field, bike trails, a small pond, excellent hiking, Lagoon Valley Lake for fishing, and much more.

It is in Vacaville. The much more includes restrooms and a frisbee golf course. It cost a few dollars to enter the park, maybe $3. Every time I have gone there is always a strong enough breeze that I loose a disc in a water hazard.

Yea Pena Adobe was my next suggetion, lots of room to park there, but there are lot of ducks there, it would work just dont feed the ducks whatever you do, they will swarm you.

From san Jose, I'd say 1.5 hours. It's over in Vacaville off of hwy 80. Otherwise, I'm doing good and the truck is only really driven on the weekends. Right now, it's being used as the home improvement hauler.

I'm definitely going to try and make this one, had no idea there were so many Tundra Nuts in my area!! I like the idea of the Tundra parade.... I have plans at my shop that day, but I really want to come and meet you guys!! My truck's going in for a new differential on Monday, just got a bent axle replaced last week.

Directions: Head towards Vacaville, CA off of hwy 80. Heading east take the Pena Adobe Rd exit, at stop sign go straight. Heading west on hwy 80, exit Pena Adobe Rd and make a right, then a left into Lagoon Valley Park. Either way, head towards the pay booth. Take an envelope and insert $3 and place it into drop box. Park fee is based on honor system. Be sure to keep your portion and place on dash. Head towards the big parking lot after the dog park.

Who from the Bay Area wants to convoy to Vacaville? PM me.

I can break away early, but need to know when to show up to meet everybody! As my baby is in the shop, I got an Enterprise rental, a %&*#)(@* Chevy! Gets better MPG than my Tundra, with less horsepower and all.... Should be back with a new Diff on Wednesday!!!

I have an alpine cd hu, with an alpine 6disc changer, RF amp and 10" sub, pioneer 6x9's in the rear and pioneer 6's in the front.

Oh yeah, I might bring my dog(she's half lab/half chow). I'll try and remember to bring some tundra solutions decals in case anybody wants any....

I install Car audio and video for a living...will bring some pic of a 05' tundra i just did today....nice vid system....and hopefully my new amp will be here to hook back up to my stealth! As well I'm bringing my Lab....

Thanks for posting the pix. Glad to hear everyone had a good time. I was not able to make it; I do "volunteer" work and the in-laws (just bought a house) needed the Tundra to haul a few items :mad: (got a full tank of gas out of it :tu: )

Hey everyone, thanks for coming out on a rather chilly afternoon! A lot of diversity on display. :tu: It was real nice meeting new people and spending time with old friends. Thanks for the compliment/warning guys! Yes, those rims require a special tool to get each lug off. In fact, at work, I throw my truck up on jack stands and I take the rims/tires off and roll all 4 upstairs with me. It adds another 45 minutes to the start and end of my day but it's worth it! :D :D :D

I am just learning how to get around on TS. To find these post I did a search for Herb. I know there is another way to do it.
I am going to do Herb's ft. brakes this week, maybe I can get him to show me some ins and outs on TS. I would also like to learn how to post pictures.
I ordered a power sliding rear window for my truck. I got in on the group buy in the general forums. This was the first time of doing something like that. It was exciting checking the forum every day to see who and how many were getting sold. We needed 10 for the special price. Some times I would check it two or three times a day. I was up at 5 am. on the 10th. to place my order. The 10th is when we could start ordering and the special price would last until Dec. 10th if we could get a min. of 10 sold. On the 11th. we had 10 sold and I was notifiied the window is on its way, can't wait.:cool:

Sorry to post so late, I just wanted to say that my wife, our saint and myself had a great time meeting everyone. It was really cool to meet a bunch of other Tundra owners in Norcal. I especially enjoyed seeing so many variations, lowered, lifted, supercharged, retrax, bed rack, steroes, the works! It was like a showroom for mods, I now have plenty of ideas of what to do next. We should try to do this more often and perhaps a little more formal and do a bar-b-que, etc. I'll volunteer to organize it if there is interest. Take care!

Rick - thanks again for reading the codes. Looks like the P0125 was related to the P0135. I had the sensors replaced, both left and right as you had mentioned, on friday. I requested to have the only mechanic I trust at that dealership work on my truck. About an hour of waiting my truck was done. A couple of people saw the letter about the extended warranty on the O2 sensors and were surprised I had. Thanks to this site, I didn't get the run-around and have to pay $125 just to read the codes
