This is probably the dumbest question asked on this site, but here I go. On all the installation instructions I've read on this site, it never mentions to remove the factory installed rear sway bar first. I can't believe I'm the only person that has the factory sway bar. I wondering if everybody that installed the Helwig sway bar and listed it has one of their favorite accessories didn't have the factory installed sway bar to begin with.

If you have a factory installed rear sway bar then you don't need the Hellwig bar. Many trucks did not come with the factory bar.

Sounds to me like you need to unload that Hellwig tootsweet!
