Okay after reading everyones very low opinions of 22's+ I have decided to instead get 20's, my question is what is the biggest tire size i can get to really fill out the wheel well without rubbing and have a comfortable ride. 03 access 2wd. thanks in advance... I know alot of you guys have 20's..

I have 295/45/20 on my Enkei/Toyota wheels. I like them, not to much sidewall, but really wide. I dont however like the look of the tires themselves. I have Hankook Ventus and I would like a little more aggressive looking tire ( if there is such a thing).

295/45/20, 285/45/20, 275/45/20, 265/45/20, 255/45/20... etc go to tirerack.com to see what is available for your Tundra. I have 295/45/20 with Pirelli Tires, and I like the look of the Pirelli tires. However they are really wide, and a tire dealership have told me that having wide tires causes hydroplaning during heavy rain/flooding on the streets. I haven't tried the hydroplaning yet....:D

yes, and wider tires also cause increased road drag and corresponding lower mileage, in addition to hydroplaning. i am looking at my tire options and thinking maybe i actually might want to go to a slighter "smaller" tire. shhh... i know that's not a popular idea! i think i could see a 5% torque increase with improved gas mileage by going to a 255/55r17 on the oem alloy rims. i definitely like the look of 18's or 20's on the tundra, but right now i can't spend the money to get the aftermaket rims just to take a hit in the mileage and torque departments as well. even more money to regear.

I have 04 tundra DC and I run 285/50-20 Goodyear Eagle GT II's. They look Great and fill the front wheel well perfectly. Only a tiny bit of rub on full crank and it is just the mud flap. I get about 16 mpg average. I think the ride is just as good as stock BFG 16's or possibly a bit better.

wow I would likr to see pics of that, I think that is the biggest you can possibly go without lift, I'm kindof concerned that that wouldnt fit on my truck though, I think that my 2003 Access cab most likely has less clearance then your newer DC... anyone put that size tire on a truck like mine?
