I believe several guys called the factory and were able to get the same price as we did on the group buy. It was $150 plus shipping (around $18). You can read through some of the old group buy posts to get the contact person and phone number I think. Others have gotten em from JC Whitney and Summit for similar prices.

I recently bought a 2006 2wd 8cyl automatic Tundra and put a camper on it. I was told that adding a rear sway bar was a must. Looking for input..... What about Toyota - do they have a sway bar? If I purchase after market, will it void the warranty?

Yeah, toyota has a swaybar for the tundra but it requires mounting brackets to be welded on the rear end. Kind of a show stopper in my book. The aftermarket helwig bar is a bolt-on addition. I been running mine for 35k miles and almost sold my truck initially because I thought the handling was a little scarey at speed, before I found out about the bar. You'll thank everyone who recommends it.
BTW: JC Whitney has free shipping for over $75 orders

I'm going to try calling in on the old Group Buy (what was it...6 months ago :p ) , but if it doesn't work, I'll be in for a new group effort. Otherwise, may just order it from Summit...something like $25 more total, not a deal-breaker ;)

hi, ask anyone who has the hellwig on there tundra. they love it. it has a HUGE improvement in handling.
they now make a adjustable 1 for guy's with lift's , that the difference between the old style and the new style.
but they also just to let you know, make a front 1 too.
i have it ,it's on and honestly it's even better than before.
thankyou hellwig for caring enough about tundra owner's to make our trucks not only handle much better but alot safer to drive.
you all will understand, what i mean, when god for bid you have a emergency situation on your hand's.
your handling might get you out of it.

good luck, i hope you like it as much as i do. plus if you can get your hands on the front sway bar, do it!
but 1st drive it with the rear 1 only. than add the front.
you will realize that it does get much better.
again you are going to have alot of fun. HELLWIG made my tundra fun to drive with the extra power!
now that's totally awesome to say.
thanks hellwig, nancy, dave! ;-)

Well I got the bar the other night and installed it. The instructions aren't as clear as I thought they should've been but a mechanically inclined person can put this thing on in short order. I still need to recheck everything but the stiffening effect when cornering is fantastic and it does make the front feel a little spongy now. Perhaps I'll break down and get the hellwig for the front too. When the wind hits it now the body doesn't roll like it used to which makes for a more pleasant drive. I'm still trying to adjust to the new feel. I would take pics but someone has another thread with lots of pics.
