I have the new truck manual from the glove box but all it says is 1993 owner's manual Truck. It has a 22r motor and a five speed trans. It's a "TRUCK". Tacomas started in 1995 T-100's started in 1993 and they look nothing like a truck, they are much bigger. I am fairley sure you have a TRUCK. They are great vehicles and in high demand. Technically it is a 'Hi-Lux' though it was never branded as such in Toyota's U.S. marketing of their pick-ups back in the early 90's. With that said, they are great trucks, the 22RE is nearly bullet-proof, and the 89-94 remains my favorite all-time body style for Toyota trucks. That design was WAAAAAY ahead of its time in '89 and still doesn't look too dated even today. The Tacoma was introduced in '95 as a '95.5 model year vehicle.
