The fog light mod posted for non-DRL does not work for my 2002 Tundra.
I did the mod as posted and fog lights operate as if I did nothing.
Any suggestions??

Is this the mod that did not work for you?

Instructions for Tundra's without DRL's:
This method changes the power source for the fog lamp switch which in turn powers the relay, from that supplied by the low beam circuit of the headlight dimmer switch, over to being supplied by the instrument panel light circuit. This does not bypass the switch. The switch works exactly the same as before, with the exception that the fog lamps can be turned on anytime that the head light switch is in either the park or headlamp position. The ignition switch does not have to be on. The light in the fog lamp switch is on under the same conditions as stock, which is anytime the dashlights are on.

1. Remove the (4) 10mm bolts that hold on the lower dash panel. Now with a little effort, the panel will pull out. The lower dash panel has 4 spring clips near the top where it connects to the upper part of the dash. Gently pull and pry until they snapped out. Let it hang down.
2. Remove the panel with the fog light switch and the panel light dimmer switch, by pulling towards you. Only clips hold this in.
3. On the backside of the fog light switch, cut the red wire with a yellow tracer, about 2 inches towards the harness.
4. Tape off the cut end (harness side) so that no shorts will occur.
5. Locate the green wire on the back of the panel light dimmer switch. Use a 3M Scotchlok connector or strip the wires a little and solder and tape them to connect the red wire with the yellow tracer, coming out of the fog light switch, to the green wire.
6. Test lights and re-install panels.

What are the colors of the switch wires in your truck?

Yes this is the mod that didn't work.
The fog switch has the red wire with yellow trace.
The dim switch has a gree wire with white trace.
I cut the red wire. Connected the red wire from switch to green wire with scotchlok connector. Fog lights still only work when headlights on.

Also this doesn't make sense to me.
If you are picking up power from the dashlight dimmer the only time the dashlights are on is when the lights are on. If his is true then how will you be able to turn on fogs without having any other lighting on?

You still will need to turn on either the parking lights or headlights (low or high beam) after this mod. This mod changes the power source for the fog lamp switch which in turn powers the relay, from that supplied by the low beam circuit of the headlight dimmer switch, over to being supplied by the instrument panel light circuit. This does not bypass the switch. The switch works exactly the same as before, with the exception that the fog lamps can be turned on anytime that the head light switch is in either the park or headlamp position.

Absolutely correct. Thats how mine works. I just leave my fog lights turned on, so when the parking or headlights are on they are on as well. If you want to have the fogs on "by themselves" as well you just need to tie the supply wire to a wire that is hot all the time, or switched your choice.

On your Fog Light Switch was there 2 wires (Red/Yellow & Green/Red)? Also on the Dimmer switch were there 3 wires (Green, White/Black & White/Green)?
