Has any one manufactured their own skid plates?? Or do you know a good one to purchase? I was thinking about thick aluminum plate but is this a good choice??
Thanks Hoogy

ruffstuffspeacialties.com and bentup.com have been working together on making products for the new FJ's. One of those is a skid plate. Contact either for more details.

So far budbuilt has skidplates. So far they offer more area protection but you lose a little clearance around the exhaust and they will soon have gas tank and diff skids that will virtually cover the whole darn bottom of the vehicle.

MAF has skid plates (more clearance but you have to remove a couple of braces near the exhuast.) Built a little more rugged than the BudBuilt due to some added bolt protection.

All pros are to be released soon as well.
All Phase off road has front and diff armor, but I don't know any details and haven't heard any reviews.
