Have any of you guys sold a truck on Ebay, if so is it a pain or a good way to go.
i've got a 96 T-100 and thinking of putting it up on Ebay. I've got one guy who is interested in it already but I'm just wondering about Ebay.
I'm going to order my new Taco DC this week so I'll find out what the dealer will give me for the T100 and then have to decide which way to go.
Thanks,

Ebay is expensive and can be a pain.
Try craigslist.com It is free and local only but people in other cities do search other cities.
I sold my Nissan Kingcab in one day.

I've sold vehicle on eBay. Yes, it costs a bit, but the exposure is huge. Take LOTS of high-resolution pictures, that will answer most people's questions.
Make it PERFECTLY clear in the listing details that you need a deposit quickly and this is a sale- not an invitation to come look at the truck and then decide if they want to actually buy it. Your expecting nothing more than a money transaction, signing over the title, and handing over the keys. state to ask all questions BEFORE bidding.
The right people who play by the rules are out there. I sold a mint 86 Camaro a few years ago. A sheriff from Nebraska (I'm in CT) won it and asked lots of good questions before hand. He arranged to come out and drove it all the way back to Nebraska. It's up to the winner to figure out how to get it home. Recomend that you pick a commuter parking lot or somewhere that is not your home to do the deal.
So anyways, eBay does work well for selling vehicles. You've just got to be very detailed and honest in the listing details.
