After 110K miles my 96 T100 decided to give me a problem - the driver side door lock has developed an issue. When I press the keyless entry - it just kinda wiggles the doorlock - like its giving a half hearted attempt. I press it two or three times before it manages to wiggle enough to unlock the door. And the problem seems to be worse on cold days. Anyone else ever hear of this?

Probably time for a little lube on the mechanisms. It fixed mine.

I agree with the first reply...you probably need some good lube and you'll be good to go. I can connect with this issue, as the power locks on my 87 rolla seem to freeze up pretty good when it gets cold. Sometimes I have to press the button or unlock it with the key several times for the locks to come all the way undone. Likely it's just the lubricants gelling up in the cold. And as for the second reply, his locks probably remained unlubed or poorly lubed for so long it put too much stress on the mechanism and caused it to fail. Have a look around and see to lubing them up good, and let us know how it turns out!:tu:
