i am looking at a 92 4x4 4 cylinder 5 speed, im weary about it though, it has a rebuilt jasper motor in it with around 25k on it the guy says, he says its a good solid truck reg cab, in good condition for 4k.... does anyone else think that maybe it couldve been sunk or more then likely dogged real hard to have to have a rebuilt motor? please share your thoughts

There's a number of reasons it could have a rebuilt motor. When I had my '87 with the 22RE, the oil filter was tightened with a wrench and pierced a small hole in it. No oil pressure=blown motor. So I would ask him why it was rebuilt but wouldn't shy away for that 4k price tag.
