I raised this issue in a previous post but I don't believe anyone had attempted it:

The SEQ entry lighting is TERRIBLE in the front seat area. The middle seat and cargo area have overhead lights that come on when the door opens, but the front map lights are not wired to do the same. All you get from the factory is the puny footwell lights.

Has anyone paid the $60 for the '03 wiring diagrams or attempted a mod on an earlier year to wire the map lights into the door light circuit?

You're right!! I've thought the same. My Tundra lights over the console come on with the door open. Why not the Sequoia's. Sounds like a great MOD.

That reminds me. Is there a floor light on the passenger side of the Sequoia? When I open the doors, only the driver side floor lights up. Thanks.
BTW - haven't tried anything for the map lights

The light is only for the driver, If you want to make it a little brighter, take off the cover. It's like a sleve over the bulb.
