I traded in my 03 VW Beetle Turbo (Color Concept Edition) I was suprised that they offered me $11,600 for it with 69K miles, funny thing is that the Prius I bought had a deposit on it since it was delivered from another dealership and sitting in back of lot, the people didn't sign anything and never showed up for 3 days so the car is mine now:)

Great Car allthought i think the Camry hybrid look's nicer the Prius is still the original Hybrid for Toyota. My buddy just got a new Hybrid camry and I drove it once little bit getting used to on the key but handled great and engine I couldn't hear it's that quiet...

Camry is nice but I like the trunk space and mileage I get from the Prius.

Camry Hybrid loses half the trunk of a Non Hybrid version. Those batteries had to go somewhere. Unlike the Prius, The Camry serves a universal platform.
Prius has way more room, interior/cargo wise.
But the Camry is a nicer ride overall.. better chassis and dynamics.

I too purchased an 07 Prius about two weeks ago. We got the package 4 in blue. My wife loves the car. I have driven it a couple of times and it takes abit to get used to. I'm used to driving my Tundra. So, far we are averaging about 54 MPH combined higway/city driving. I'm really impressed with the car. It accelerates quite well for it size and engines.

I have an 04 Prius so I'd have to say go with the Prius, I've thought about the Camry at one point but the Prius is considered a mid-size sedan! I have the HOV Carpool lane stickers (no longer offered in CA) and that was the main reason for the Prius.
The interior space is just as roomy as a Camry; you wouldn't think of it as being roomy just by looking at the exterior. YES, I have confirmed that the trunk space is good, also, if you remove the flat level floor board, you will received additional trunk space.
What you are looking for is MPG! That's the whole point of the Prius. On occassion I get 50MPG on flat highway roads. Daily mixed driving I get about 48MPG. When I drive with a lead foot 70mph+, I get 45mpg.
Also, filling up the Prius at the pump is where I get the most enjoyment. Here in Norcal at about $2.89 a gallon today, you'd fill up for about $20 now. When gas prices dropped several weeks ago, I have paid about $16 for a full tank. :tu: FYI, your range will differ depending on driving style. I have gotten 440 miles to the tank babying the gas peddle, driving in the slow lane. BUT for normal everyday driving I get about 350miles to the tank. You get consistent 50 or even 51 MPG on flat highways.
Good luck! :tu:
