Default florida dyno run

hi, i know it's short notice, i posted it in the gen1 section.
it was suggested i post it here.

but i'm going to speed and truck world west on monday morning.
unless it's raining.

it is located in coral springs ,florida

to try out for the 1st time a DYNO run on my 2005 4.7l VVTI V8 tundra doublecab.

would anyone be interested in this;
watch the dyno run or maybe dyno 1 of your ride's?

i have the volant cai, jba headers, cat back magnflow, and the UNICHIP.
i know it has to be better than the stock 220HP to the rear wheel's right.
we shall see!

we can go to lunch afterwards. "my treat",& talk tundra toy's or whatever.
there's a pizza place near there it's called (pizza time).
no excuse's now, come out and play.
let's line the parking lot with TUNDRA'S. any year and model.

Hey what's up Gorilla,

Let us know the results of your dyno run. I too have done a run on my '05 DC and posted it up here, but it quickly faded away into obscurity since no one seemed to care. I think the title was something like finally dyno'ed my tundra or something. If I can remember it was on an old reused dynojet and it came out to 230rwhp which I wasn't too happy with, but after the SG2 plugged in the numbers were more what I was hoping for.

GL at the dyno!

hehe no..it was already modded. I had the trueflow cai but switched back to stock airbox piping and left the filter in, jba heads, and an aero turbine 2525 dual on 2.25" piping and RAPS.

hi, info.
i learned i will never get the real results for many reason
1 i will reach the rev and speed limitor before i get to the highest HP # since i have to be in 4th gear.
2 who drives with a fan blowing on the front of the vehicle for air , no one and there hood open.
i'd rather take on real life trucks and see the results that way. that is the main reason why i modified my truck anyway.
thankyou all for your input in helping me understand the real truth.

hi alexisd, if you would come out and play, it would be a honor to have a truck like your's right beside mine.
if they allow me to run 2 trucks within the hour, that i have to pay for anyway. i'll spit the time,& you can get in on it, on my dollar.
how's that? but i'd have to ask.
i know my truck's stock # are for HP are 220 to 230hp
and your 5.7 stock #'s are 310 to 330hp.
so we have a # to compare it to now.
and
i have always since alll my mod's really to see what mine can do against such a big boy.
off the line.
now if you agree , we can come up with something.
the problem is many of these dyno shop's need the dyno to finely tune there customer's car's that they are up-grading. so getting a date and time might be difficult.
shoot me a message, i'm sure we can get a date & time that both of us can make!
VAAAAARRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM...........! !!!!

it would be nice to see the true #'s anyway.
so i'm trying to go this monday. aand i will most likely go back a few times. it's a great place to hang out, and watch other vehicle's run there bad a%% toy's.
most 07 & 08's see 310rwh.
i'm wishing & hoping. but honestly, i could care less.
i'm going to have some fun.
just to see, and do 1 run.
no need to spend all day there, most runs are within a 20 to 30horse power range, for there multi runs.
i'll see if they can fit me in, it's only 85 bucks.

update!
i did many dyno run's. the shop was impressed by my little engine that could.
considering the new calulation of HP my truck has 271HP not 282 as claimed.
so that mean's the HP at the wheel's would be approx. 210HP
the shop use's the new formula to calulate.

326HP at the engine
245hp at the rear wheel with 274torque.

so i went from 281HP to 326HP = 55HP
and i went from 210HP at the rear whell's to 245HP =35HP
respectable #'s considering a few bolt on modification item's,such as
VOLANT CAI
JBA 2011S HEADERS
CAT BACK MAGNAFLOW EXHAUST WIT DUAL TAIL PIPES OUT THE REAR
NO RESINATOR
UNICHIP

dyno sheets posted for me by idealtundra, IN THE 1ST GENERATION FORUM.
with a little tuning and and disable of the speed & rev limitor i will reach even higher #'s.
just a little infomation that could help you, in case you ever decide to modify.
regards,
gorilla
