This is a discussion thread titled "parm beach to miami florida tuner shop's", within the Southeast forum, part of the News and Events category.
hi , if you guys/girls ever go to any tuner shop in your area.
can you ask if they can remove the speed & rev limitor on a 05 4.7 VVTI V8 tundra.
if yes, can you shoot me a message asap with there info, so i can call them. it sure would be nice, just to have it.
gorilla
hi, i guess maybe you didn't understand me.
if you go to any tuner shop could you would you ask any of the persoanll there, if they are able to disconnect the speed and rev limitor?
if yes, please than asap could you & would you please be so kind to foward the infomation to me.
such as the name and location of the shop and there phone #.
so i can call them to set up a appointment to have them disable the speed and rev limitor ASAP.
i truely hope i this time was so much clearer in what i was trying to say.
sometime's i know what i was thinking & what i was trying to say, but many other's don't. i guess your not in my head. LOL
thanks,
gorilla
who knows,WHATEVER!
it a horrible feeling when titans, dodge's, fords, chevy's,EVEN THE NEW TUNDRA'S ALL blow by me, and mine CUT'S OUT & die's.
i have to go back home, get on anyone of my bike's & smoke them, when they hit top end. & i blow by them and OUT OF SIGHT in a few seconds. :-)
gorilla
ah poor gorilla......if you want to know real speed.....take that bike you have to the track. Anybody can open the throttle in a straight line and coast back to 50mph.
hello ,please don't feel bad for me.
sorry, must be thinking of someone else.
and beside you can't help ,you live in NC
i was trying to be nice, i really thought you were interested in helping me.
you must be a kid, because only a kid would say something as stupid as that.
must feel terrible always dreaming & never doing, it must always leave you wanting.
again,i tried to be nice, but i see just want to engage me for some reason. I KNOW?
re-read 2 line's above.
come back when you gain some wisdom.
gorilla
i have ,but i don't have a complete listing.
even out of the yellow page's phone book.
there is always a new shop opening and a old 1 closing or they moved, etc.
plus there are some great tuners guy's, but more who can't tune correctly.
i must be asking to much.
gorilla
There isn't really any logic in you wanting to race your tundra down the highway. There is even less logic in you wanting to race cars on your motorcycles.
Save the racing for the track cuz we don't wanna see you get hurt.
Yea, if you really want to see how fast your tundra is, take it to the drag strip and run it a few times. Get the time slip printed out and post it on here. Compare it to other stock and/or modified tundras' times.
