This years annual Tacoberfest meet is scheduled for October 10-12, 2008 from 3-4pm Friday until Noon-ish Sunday. Previous Tacoberfests were hosted at a member's house in Pennsylvania, but this year's event will be held at The Eagle Adventure Company's Eagle Ranch on Ice Mountain in beautiful, rustic Copperhill, Tennessee. The 120-acre Eagle Ranch actually straddles the Tennessee/North Carolina border.
Cost for the entire weekend is $75 a head and you can register online and read more about it at
Tacoberfest - An Annual Gathering of Tacoma Enthusiasts.. This is a family-friendly event; kids under 7 free, dogs welcome. Food is provided, rustic indoor accomodations available on a first-come first serve basis. Tent camping also available.
I attended last year's event in Pennsylvania. This year's event is about a 10 hour drive for me, and I'd like to attend but only if a few of my TS friends show up.
