Default Visiting Charlotte, NC

Visiting Charlotte, NC until thursday for business. What is there to do around here? I'm at the Hilton off of Keynes Rd.

I just arrived and looking for beer now... I wasn't about to pay $7 for one on the plane..

Ahh welcome to my state bud! Concord Mills is one of the biggest malls around. They have a huge Bass Pro Shop and i think they even have an indoor go kart track as well as an I-Max theater. Chilli's is around there as well as a really southern Louisiana type resturant and that one has really good beer on draft. Carowinds is just a 15min up the road from there. Its kinda like a 6 flags if you have any interest in that sorta thing. Lowes Motor Speedway is right down the street from Concord Mills and they usually run tours daily.

Thanks Brendon!!! I'll see what time I have to venture out. I'm in meetings all day and not sure when it will end. Hopefully, I don't have "homework" for the hotel room.

There are a few good bars around the university area - wild wings is down an exit on mallard creek church road (turn left off exit coming from concord mills)

there is the flying saucer, they have like 200+ drafts
boardwalk billies

if you like the bar scenes
