Re: Welcome to the Southeast Forum! New Members Check In Here!
Hi, Allen here. Been a member since '04 but haven't posted. I check in every now and then when I'm working on my truck and need some technical advice. Just wanted to say hello to everyone.

Welcome Allen!!! Good to here from ya! Ha, I will be driving past your place this weekend! I've got to go to Tom Johnson's Camping Center to pick up our Travel Trailer (had some work done).

I, I'm PriusMike, checking in as a new member / subscriber, from Clearwater FL. Got my new Prius Package #3 three days ago. It's quite a car, but it will take a while getting used to the motor stopping when the car stops.
I have a lot of questions, like where can I download the Shop Manual (the big thick book that shows EVERYTHING.) I already have a new Genetex Autodimming Mirror with Compass, but have seen posts elsewhere that there may be problems with installations where there is the side curtain airbag. And third question is why I'm "only" getting about 45 mpg. I'm attributing it to always having the headlights on for safety (wife's request), and running the AC all the time -- with the high humidity here, it must use a lot of energy just dehumidifying the air (so will see if using recirculation instead of outside air refresh makes a difference.
Glad to be in the group, and look forward to learning lots from you all by sharing info.

Hello. I have a 2001 Tundra and for the 5 years I've owned this vehicle the brakes have concerned me. They vibrate when stopping. Brakes stopped vibrating a short time after brake job. Should I upgrade the brakes in any way. If so, where should I but the new parts? Tks, for any help.
