well not reallllyyyy new .. I have been a member of T S for a few months .. I just have never posted before ..
I live just south of Daytona, Florida ...
I bought my Tundra in Feb. and I love it .....
the wife liked the ride and feel so well she traded in her saturn
for a Corolla the next day .....
I got an SR5 TRD 5.7 liter double cab RED with a black interior .
and added a few dozen things to make it "my own" ...
this is my 4th new Toyota truck in 20 years .....
last one had 387,000 miles when I hit some black ice in North Alabama
and sent down a hill rolling over several times ....
I hope that there are some other owners around here ..
I have only seen 2 other '07 on the road ....
All a man really needs for happiness in this world is a good woman, a faithful dog, and a big-a$$ed set of tires on his truck.

just joined from Baton Rouge, got an '06 prerunner Db cab last Aug. love it. great site. has anyone looked into installing the sliding tie down rail to the bed?
Re: Welcome to the Southeast Forum! New Members Check In Here!
I just bought a Tundra Double Cab, long bed and can not believe the ride and handling for a large truck. I drove an F150 long bed and there is no comparsion between the two. I really stepped out of my box buying the Tundra as I have always had F150's. Pricing, style, options and dealership is what changed my mind. My Tundra has the 5.7 Liter and it really has the power to pull my camper.

Ok, I've been posting for a couple months now, but have only recently ventured into regional.
This reads like an AA meeting intro:
Hi, my name is Woody, and I have a problem...
...I love toyota trucks
I'm just getting over my 2004 Tacoma 3.4L V6, 4x4, TRD, K&N, Magnapak, custom-built offroad bumper with 4x 130W spots....I spent a lot of gas driving through mud, red clay, dune sand, swamps, rivers, creeks, muddy-dry lake beds, fire roads, pastures, woods, parking chocks and concrete medians. My Toyoter has never let me down, gotten stuck, had an issue, or NOT put many domestics to shame.
My addiction continues...I trade in my Taco for a 2007 Tundra Tomorrow (hopefully) I've been waiting a couple months, and can't wait to get my fix. I need something that can haul a horse trailer, and I don't want to be Found-On-Road-Dead. The new one is a Slate, DC, 4x4, TRD, NAV, Tow, Sonar, 5.7L...and it makes my jeans tight just thinking about it.
If I could snort this truck, I would.
Oh yeah, I'm from Thomson, GA where my family has a farm/equine competition grounds/cattle, where I work most weekends, but I reside in Columbia, SC, where I 9-5 as an animal nutritionist. I spent several years in Southern California, where it really sucks.
Can I have my Kool-Aid now?

Well, I guess I need to post here, just for self-reference.
I'm originally from Panama City, FL, but I'm out in the boondocks of Southeast Georgia -- Brunswick, yay.... -- as of now. I am an employee of a Toyota Dealership down here, and I'm a proud owner of a 2007 Toyota Tundra Crewmax SR5 4x4. I traded my baby - a true redneck 2000 Tacoma SR5 4x4 lifted with bubba tires and Mossy Oak everywhere - for my new baby, and... I guess I should stop babbling now, and go read more.
Re: Welcome to the Southeast Forum! New Members Check In Here!
Hello All!
Just joined and wanted to say hello from Lincolnton, North Carolina... We just got our 06 Tundra DC last August and love it. We're currently working overseas, so we miss our big toy and look forward to coming home and having some fun. We're already planning suspension, brake, and intake mods, so the forum is REALLY helping us out from afar.
Thanks so much to everyone for great posts!
-Eric & Denise
