This is a discussion thread titled "trailer service in Mesa/East Valley of AZ", within the Southwest forum, part of the News and Events category.
We just moved here from out of state. We have atravel trailer that had some slight damage during shipping here. I also just traded my 2001 Tundra 4x4 for an 07 Tundra 5.7 4x2. I need to have the brake controller installed on the new truck and the hitch and such adjusted for the new truck as well Anyone know of a good camper service in the area?
I posted this in the towing but thought someone from AZ might suggest a service provider to install the break controller that was in my 01 tundra to the new 07 tundra. Dealer took the old truck to have it removed but not sure where to take the new truck to have it reinstalled. Also need some minor repairs for the travel trailer as there was some damage to the hitch from having it shipped here. There are a lot of travel trailers dealer/service here just not sure which is a good one. suggestions would be great.
Thanks
Donno about fixing the hitch..... but, the brake controller should just be "plug and play" if you by a harness wire. What kind of controller is it?

25-30 ft Travel Trailer....... bye bye Pop-Up
The brake controller are really easy to put in your 07. There is a plug with wires in the glove box. It has full instructions on which wire goes where. Just use crimp fittings to crimp the wires from the brake controller and pull the side kick panel off on the drivers side. The end that the pig tail you wired just plugs right into the plug behind the kick panel. A couple of screws from the bracket of your controller to the lower dash and you are ready to go.
South of Mesa, in Casa Grande is a dealer named NORRIS RV. I bought my trailer from them. They do good work and are about 45 minutes south of Mesa on the I-10.
I just had a brake controller put on at Lewis Hitches in Chandler. I've used them before and they're good.
Thanks for the suggestion. I took the truck and camper in together. They were able to repair the camper and make adjustments to our hitch and controller for towing with the new truck. They were very nice did a good job and worked with the claims adjuster for the camper repair.
Thanks
