This is a discussion thread titled "Alarm Installation in Arizona", within the Southwest forum, part of the News and Events category.
Can anyone in AZ give me a good reference to someone who knows how to install an alarm system? Also, any suggestions on which one to buy? I would like:
1. Keyless entry
2. Glass breakage
3. Ignition kill
I can tell you where not to go. Chronic Car Audio. Mostly a bunch of hack kids who half-a$$ everything and have no regard for your property.
I like the guys at Sounds Good To Me at Broadway & Hardy in Tempe but I haven't had an alarm system installed there.
With a name like Chronic, I think I would have kept a drivin'.
Jerrys Audio and video on 7th street and Camelback I have heard has some of the best installers in central phx.
Most of the Ultimate Electronics installers are pretty good.
Some Circuit City stores have good installers, some are pretty bad and will break your stuff though.
Audio Express used to be absolutely horrible, but I don't know today.
Audio Distress the home of the one dollar mutilation is what they were known by years back.

Automotive Expressions on Camelback and 12th street in Phoenix. Next to the Cadillac dealership. Request "Gus" he has been doing top end Alarm systems in the valley for over 20 years. No Wire Fryers there. Excellent selection of electronics as well.
Az.
years ago i worked for Earhardts installing CODE alarms. Back the we all thought they were the best. dont know if theyre even still around. Viper is basically the same as half the alarms out there from what i understand, just higher priced.
Alarm Installation is used for security systems in institutional facilities such as hospitals. It includes installation of security systems for commercial customers and residential customers. in car also we are using alarm installation to prevent them from the accident. If any unwanted things happened in companies, there also the alarm will be used.
This guy is looking for a place to have an anti-theft/break-in alarm installed on his vehicle, what you posted has ablolutely nothing whatsoever to do with that.

As far as an alarm, I'd stay away from DEI products (Viper, Clifford, etc.) - not because they are not good alarms, but because you pay out the arse for the name. I have had great luck with Skytec alarms - both in my vehicles, and in customers as well. I used to work in the car audio biz, but I am out of it now. I do still install alarms when I get the chance - it can be a pain in the hiney, but I actually enjoy doing it.
If anyone is looking for an alarm or remote start, I'll point you in the right direction to buy one, and I can install it for a great price. PM me if you are interested, or if you just have any questions.
