Anyone in the Tucson area that has experience installing tint and would be willing to help a fellow TS'er out? Need to redo the tint on the front windows from where the previous owner scratched them, but my tint place won't go any darker than 35%. I want to install 15-20% and am thinking about buying one of the pre-cut kits off of ebay unless someone on here has a better idea.
i just got 35 at specialists by the auto mall, i wont do darker either on my own....the tucson police are weird about what they get ya for sometimes :P

you could very well get away with it..i mean i see so many people with like tinted windshields and such dark tail light tint you cant see and one guy had no tail lights, literally....and nothing happens but then my brothers turn signal was out and he gets pulled over....lol and i got a ticket in the mail, says i was doing 57 in a 45 on valencia way west, but i remember that flash and i wasn't going 57 so how do i prove that? my plan...threw out ticket avoiding the door till court day if they come to serve it :P i go like 3 over....few weeks ago i did 5 over but im trying to go slower to avoid any hassles i have an accident on my record and one speeding ticket (tricky spot downtown) so i dont need anymore insurance raises...

I wouldn't mess with trying to diy - I've played around with tinting, and it is a true pain in the hiney. Just go to a shop and have it done right. I know quality bumper in Phoenix would do the two fronts for $70, and they do great work with great customer service. I hade them do my whole BMW, and two of the widows had bubbles when they were done. I took it back to them, and they had started carrying a better kind of film, so they redid my whole car for free!
