Do you think we could everyone to show up sometime at a centralized location and spend the day having some fun?
Janurary would be a great time to meet before it gets too hot. Ideas would be good to have on places to go whrere theres enough room for all of us to park and bring the families and have some fun.
Say..............................a miniature golf place. My idea was to have a place big enough to park, let the wives/gf go shop at the mall and we could hang around the trucks, check stuff out and go play some miniature golf and the low score gets some kind of prize. A little friendly competition. (just one idea that might be fun for the whole family)
I would be up for something like you suggested anytime after the holidays are over. I think there are enough newly recognized members from AZ that we could get a decent turnout. And, if we have any members that are anticipating some future mods, we could all pitch in and lend our expertise, experience, muscle, tools, etc. I really like the idea of finding a solid location where we could park all the trucks together and have a look see at what everyone has done to their ride.

Its just a possible idea that I was thinking about. Another idea I had was very simiar to what you were talking about. We did this activity last year in Tucson over at MacerrasTRD's place. We had about 7-8 members at his house, he made lunch (shishkabobs) for everyone after a $10 donation to him for the food. Meanwhile, we all took turns helping each other out doing thier mods to thier trucks. Some did lighting, while others did alarms and a whole bunch of other cool one day mods. We all brought out tools, so what one member didnt have.....another member did! We all had a great time!!! We called this MOD-DAY!
We'll try and set something up after the holidays are over................
I am in for that, after the holidays.Mod day sounds good.AZ TUNDRA MOD DAY-I guess someones has to start a new post so we can get this group started.Give everyone enough time to check in.See if we can get some new ideas or something.Alot of new and old checked into Eric's cencus, lets see if we can get this AZ TUNDRA MOD DAY GOING.
P.S.
I Just put some new rims on what do you think?Cost me some benji's but I am happy with them.

I'm up for mod day again. Keep me posted. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Depending on when it is, I might be able to show up.
I have a deer hunt, MLK day, a Javalina hunt in Feb or March and the Bass start gittin' fished about mid Jan - Feb, so I am busy but there may be a weekend that I am free, I will keep my eyes on the thread and will try to make it if even for a short time.
TGray - Santa came early huh? I like the new rims.
Thanx,
Ya but he came in form of my wife.Totally surprised me,now just waiting to wear my 285's down so I can get some 315/75/16.I guess I have to do alot of peeling out and tire rotations. Then she will have to buy me some nurf bars.As it is she has a hard time getting in.
So does anybody have any ideas for there mods they want to do?I havent thought of mine yet.Maybe I will get a new stereo,my alpine isnt playing the cd's that great anymore. Its a couple of years old.A new alpine would be great.Hopefully my wife is still in the christmas spirit. So does anybody have any ideas on what kind of mods they want to do to there Tundra's?

I'll chime in here guys...I just purchased my '03 Tundra about 3 1/2 weeks ago, and I'd be interested in getting together with some folks and discussing mods. I used to do this sort of thing every now and then with the AZ S2000 club and I find that it's a great way to make some new friends. Name's Erik by the way; no pics of my truck yet (no big deal though, it's essentially stock for now) but I'll get some posted here soon. I look forward to meeting all you guys and gals soon...Happy Holidays to all!
Looks like this thing is starting to pick up steam, now before we get too excited..............
PLACE: We need to look for a place to do all these projected mods. It will probably be needed all day depending on how many members we get and how many of them want to do mods. If a member has a house with a garage or driveway so that we can get 1 or 2 tundras at a time in to work on them, that would be great. I plan on bringing all my tools, extra wiring, and service/electrical/part manuals to help assist those who need that specific info. Food will also be a consideration. We can eat stuff at the chosen place or have someone go and get food and bring it back to the members (this would be preferred so we dont loose time in the day doing mods).
DATE: Secondly, we need to start looking at our calendars for some common dates that we could all be available to meet. Post a few dates in either Jan or Feb preferrably a weekend either Sat or Sun. Once we get an idea of some common dates, we can select one along with a place.

LonS
I have a automotive shop that I can open on a Sunday.Monday thru Saturday we are open.So I can only use the shop on Sundays and it will be ours to have. There is plenty of room to park our trucks in front and there are three bay doors. If we can get enough Az folk to show up I will be more than happy to open the shop on a sunday, but you Phoenix folk have to drive to Tucson.I this is good enough Lon let me know and we could make this happen. Then the only thing else is to find a date so that EVERYONE can agree on.So lets do this

Thx for getting a place to meet. Speaking for myself, i wouldnt mind a drive to Tucson. Last years Mod Day was in Tucson as well. Now lets focus on some dates.
Ok everyone, start checking your 2004 calendars and see what dates you have available AND what mods you will want to do.
