rear is done, and the rear is sitting on tires now, but gotta figure out how to tighten the top nut on the shocks.

LMAO @ "a wrench"
...
Nick, there should be a very small flat on the end of the stud...you should be able to locate it by feel.
I used a set of vise grips to clamp the stud while turning the nut.
You think it's hard getting them on, try getting them off a five year old truck after three years in the salty midwest!
Use a little grease and some blue loctite on the nut.

Re: Lifting DC in progress. PICs
There also might be a palce for an allen wrench to go on the top of the threaded part.

D'oh! Best hope for a socket then
.
If you got nuthin', a vise grip turned down hard should still work.

snap on has a tool that fits perfectly into that slot. but it also costs about 30 bucks.

Re: Lifting DC in progress. PICs
The Bils rear stem top shocks have an allen hole, when it is on the truck it is not the easiest to get to but it is there. the fronts have the flat spot that a cressent wrench can hang onto and you can use a wrench or open top socket/wrench to tighten. Racheting wrenches work great for the shocks.
