Default Leveling Kit

After reading the searched threads I am still looking for some real world feedback on a leveling kit. First of all the largest tire I would probably ever run would be a 305 on an 18" wheel. More likely it would be a 285/65/18.

I see the Truxxx 3/1 is popular but it has steel components instead of aluminum. The Top Gunz and ready Lift also seem to be popular. Just doing a Ready Lift 2" Aluminum in the front would probably give me the space I need for the 285's.

The truck does not have to be PERFECTLY level but I do like the looks of the Truxxx 3/1. Just don't know if I want to spend the additional money. So help a long time member out here. I will run the 275/65/18's until they wear out anf then probably go to a 285/65/18.

Would like to hear from those of you who have a couple thousand miles and how it affected your MPG and ride comfort. My only off roading will be beach driving to go surf fishing a few times a year. The rest is just rural roads to and from work. Thanks in advance

Never mind folks. I am getting the Truxxx 3/1. Had a few of my (professional) mechanic friends compare them and they all agreed the Truxxx is the better one for my needs. Some may disagree but we live and learn.
