This is a discussion thread titled "donahoes all years the same?", within the Suspension & Axle forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Anyone know at what length the shafts on Donahoes/Icons are considered Extended version? Looking over my rebuild invoice from Icon back in February this year, they listed a 10.25 inch overall length shaft. Is that the "regular" length version? If not, is it feasible to change out to extended length shafts during my next rebuild? I've been okay with my DRs so far but I will be getting Camburg UCAs soon and want to take advantage of that extra inch of travel the UCAs offer, but would be useless without an extended length coilover.

The shaft is the same for both the regular and the extended versions. The difference is the size of the internal spacer. The different spacer allows for more droop. Give us a call and we can go over this in more detail with you. Thanks
