I don't intend on removing my monoballs anytime soon. The ex-wife never carried in her purse and no future wife will either.

I'm not an engineer either I just read that information off their site and Total Chaos' site.

$50 vs. $120 (+/- circlips) is hardly a couple $$ extra and I thought members would appreciate the find. Unless you know them to be different your comment on integrity has no bearing (hehe get it?) because it's of the same manufacturer, Aurora. But that's the answer I'm looking for so that's why I posted here and sooner or later we'll know.

And safety is in original center of gravity and OEM fasteners for abs wires. There's nothing safer about what any of us has done to raise our pickups. lol

Man, have you seen this???
Inch Spherical Bearings on Aurora Bearing Company

When I get some time, I will search through this and see if I can finger it out. My UCAs aren't in so I can actually check fitment without disassembly. If you want to boy one of them and then we can email some photos back and forth with something like a tape measure to show size we may be able to figure this out!

The tables for each bearing type shows different race dimensions for 1" ball bores. If your monoballs are out or you're comfy taking them apart you could measure the bearing outer race's diameter and depth and compare from their tables. Those two measurements would tell us the misalignment angle based on Aurora's info. To measure we may need a good caliper to make sure.

I was thinking this same thing. I need to get a caliper cause I don't want to trust it to a tape.

I'll post up when I get this done.
