I've been reading that alot of you guys run them and I would like to try them but I have no idea what I need or where to get them, and I really dont know a whole lot about them at all. I thought I read somewhere that they needed to be unhooked before you put the truck on a lift, is this true? Also, how do I fill them is there an onboard compressor that comes with them or do I inflate them with my air compressor like the old air shocks I had on my el camino? I'm looking for any helpful information I can get. Thanks in advance for all your help!

I just finished installing Firestone Ride Rite Air bags on my RCSB. Part no. 2445. No drill installation. Uses double convoluted air bags. I bought mine through
ebay. The
ebay store is 1sourcemfg. Fast shipping (FEDEX). Have not tested them yet. Got dark already.
These bags go between the frame and the top of the leaf springs. The rubber bumper that you see on top of the springs will have to be cut and the bottom of the bag mounts there. The kit comes with air lines and valves much like the ones on the tires and you can inflate that using portable air compressor or air source from a gas station. It doesn't take that much air to inflate these things, so be carefull. On board compressor is available also.

They also have the installation manual available for download.
