The owner before me put on some kind of cheap "leveling" kit that consists of some plastic black spacer mounted on top of the coil overs. I don't see a name or anything and the seller told me he paid 100 bucks for the kit and a few hundred to get it isntalled.
Is this what's potentially causing the problem?
If so are these easy to remove? I'm a computer engineer and not very savy whith mechanics so plese don't flame me too bad! - LOL

HAHAHA
Yeah, that cheapo spacer is the cause. They aren't too tough to get off, but you need some mechanical ability and the right tools. You may also need an OEM top compression plate and the OEM size bolts.
Someone that knows what they are looking for needs to see and and then tell you.
The spacer is junk and is probably also damaging your upper and lower ball joints and possibly the outter tie-rods when the suspension slams down like that. Make sure you get these checked when you have whoever look at the truck.
Don't stress over it though, it's nothing that can't be fixed!
